Congratulations Dave Nicholson on a New World Record!
April 18, 1999 Reno Nevada, Skip Talbot fired a five shot group that established a new world record which measured 2.6002 inches. The new record replaces the 3.2395 inch record established by Craig Taylor during the World Competition at Raton, NM in July of 1995.
Lee Rasmussen set a new .50 BMG Single Target World Record at the FCSA 2009 World Championships held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM 4th of July 2009 by shooting a 1.955" 5-shot group in the Heavy Gun Class 1000yd record competition and by doing so breaks the late Skip Talbot's 2.600" long standing single-group record set in 1999 by over 1/2". Lee's group works out to .1868 MOA.

Dale Arenson set a new .50 BMG Single Target World Record at the FCSA 2013 Raton Match held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM 24th of May 2013 by shooting a 2.178" 5-shot group in the Light Gun Class 1000yd record competition and by doing so breaks Sheri Rasmussen's 2.603" record set in 2006 by .425".

Patrick Bieck set a new .50 BMG single target World record at the FCSA 2014 fall Alliance match August 31, 2014 by shooting a 2.045 group in the Unlimited Class 1000 yd record competition and by doing so breaks Sheri Rasmussen's 2.910 record set in 2010 by .865.
